The Brief

The major refurbishment of Belmont House in the centre of Uxbridge involving the update of a 1980's design to provide a modern and efficient development offering a vastly enhanced visitor and user experience.
This scheme includes removal of the existing facades back to the concrete frame, and the complete demolition of the central core area. These works will accommodate a new entrance and reception area, providing a new main focal point for the building. Major strengthening works to the existing concrete frame will increase the floor area to 124,000 sq ft. These enhancements will result in the building achieving a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.

Contract Value - £30mill
Duration – 18 months

  • Logistically challenging site, solution based on constraints and requirements on site.
  • Waste is being removed via wheelie bins by a compaction vehicle.
  • Wait & loads, along with crane tested skips are also utilised by this project.
  • Advising and reporting for BREEAM & CCS accreditation, with full post completion report.
