The Brief

Construction of three student accommodation blocks over a podium, housing a communal area and leisure space with a single storey basement over part of the site. Two of the buildings are four floors high and the third is nine floors high and has the addition of a green roof.

The Solution

Contract Value: £26 million

Duration: 21 months

  • Delivered a solution based on the logistical constraints on site.
  • With the exception of hardcore and rubble all waste is removed via a compaction vehicle that attended site everyday – collecting on average 50 bins per day.
  • Initially through sub and super structure we provided calibrated crane certified skips.
  • Advised and reported for BREEAM & CCS accreditation, with full post completion report.
